Mexican restaurant Tapas closes as it loses lease on downtown building; Mexquisito expands into Eudora

I'd rather pay for awesome, fresh chips than eat ones that have been sitting in a bag for weeks ;)
Mexquisito is amazing.

It's "great" for a cheap meal (ie college students which is why it does well in a college town). The food isn't bad, but if you want great food, there are better options for Mexican in this town.

Sound Off: Genesis Health Club

How about the changes Genesis has said would happen to their facility on Iowa Street? They've owned that club for at least a year (maybe 2?!) and no remodeling has happened.

Regulations adopted to implement higher admission standards at KU in 2016

It might be better for him to prepare at a community college first. So many kids just don't do well because they aren't prepared and waste so much money. Of course, that's another problem: low standards in K-12.

Sound Off: Is it legal to make a left turn on a red light in west Lawrence?

I did that (but going East) because I thought there was no one at the intersection. Turns out there was a police officer behind me (I swear I wasn't drinking). It is most definitely not legal to do so.

Reorganization to create 4 new vice provost positions at KU

Late to the game on this article but salaraies have not been frozen. For some (including some advisors) it has, but many have definitely been getting raises.

Bad behavior brings bans from KU campus, as shown in released letters

Do you know how many people are employed by KU? And you're going to claim "KU has wing-nuts for employees."? Do you know every single employee?
Talk about toxic.
