Maybe the question should be, how often do you catch fish?

Well, my neighbor put a skiff in my pond, although I don't know why because two or three good strokes with the oar & you're running aground on the other side. Anyway, he said out there in the middle, the bluegill & perch were lined up about eight deep waiting for their turn at the hook. So, no, I don't fish it much. The other neighbor's grandkid caught what he claimed was a nine pound bass. There are some big catfish in there, too. The last time I swam in there, half a perch come flying through the air, the other half still in the snapper's mouth. And that's why it's the last time I swam in there. Thuja, the herons fish there, all stabby like. It's very cool, but they can be wasteful. I haven't heard one screech.

Last time I went fishing, my oldest son fell in the lake - it was the funniest thing ever! I love fishing with my boys, ages 5 and 7. It can be stressful, but in a couple more years...they'll think we're just fishin! It's an awesome way to get your kids to sit and talk with you.

My buddy's buddies went alligator hunting. Story has it one of the critters lunged mostly in the boat & caused some chaos for a bit. They claimed it was big enough for a whole set of Samsonite. It'd been funner to go rock hunting in Cabo.

Hah! I remember my brother bringing a 6 foot alligator home when I in grade school. It got loose under the kitchen table, my dog Bosco was going crazy barking at it and my mother was screaming bloody murder.
Good times.

We have been slaying crappie at Hillsdale the last 2 weeks. Nice big ones 10-15 inches

I used to love fishing, but I couldn't continue after gut-hooking the last sunfish I caught. On the rare occasions I fish now it's with artificials, and my wife doesn't know how to use artificials, so we just don't go.
Back in the day I hauled in a six foot long tarpon on 30 pound test braided, fishing off a bank, thanks to local boater that came and took me on board to chase the fish across the Caloosahatchee. It had scales as big as the body of the sunfish that made me quit fishing.
