Asking one to make a choice among the list given is as demoralizing as a Republican having to make a choice among the four contenders. I think I'll pass.

well if they can't win anywhere that matters I guess they can always beat up on poor old Kansas.

The Kansas legislature was just as overwhelmingly GOP-run in the Graves or Hayden years, even if it's managed to get a little further right over time. They could have done most of those wish-list things 10 or 15 years ago. Michigan went to a 401k-like program that far back. That they haven't suggests that there's been enough intra-party pushback against them to make it difficult, at least so far.

Not a single one of the choices make sound policy and will lead to worse outcomes in the long run for Kansas. I can figure how a fellow smart enough to gradutate from law school does nothing but come up with woodenheaded ideas....??? I guess somebody must be telling him what to do, huh?
