No... but I'll be rooting for him just the same. If he doesn't win I hope he gets the exposure to get a recording contract. The guy has a great voice and style. I love the sound of a deep voice and a lone acoustic guitar.

I happened to be watching the other night when he was on. He is pretty good, could maybe last awhile. I will watch whenever he is on.

babboy is not interfering with your right to choose what you want to watch. He just voiced his opinion--that it is a stupid show for stupid people. And I am sure he realizes that one cannot change stupid. After all, stupid is what stupid does.

This show along with all the other reality "drama" shows are part of the "Dumbing of America" movement that has gained favor with the disappearing middle class and the religious right. Not making a comment on Jason, just the machine that creates this junk and the audience that follows it. Best of luck to him!

Shows like Idol were the base of television during the start up days. Still pretty good entertainment. My brideski and I love Dancing Mit Deis Stars. Can't argue some reality shows are in poor taste, but who defines taste?

I didn't watch it after the playoffs. I heard Fox 4 plans on having it on tonight. I understand that he was the last singer to be shown on the San Diego segment.

Is he the kid that sang the acoustic version of Thriller the other night? If so, I was pretty impressed. I don't watch American Idol, just turned it on Fox right before the 9pm news.
