All of this online encouragement is a good way to put people out work. Would you want to be without a decent job? Why do the work? Taxes are not being reduced.
We all know Sam Brownback needs little encouragement to ruin people's lives by putting them unemployed.
Is automatic everything great for the job market? I say no.
Just like checking ourselves out at the grocery store. Would you like becoming unemployed? I refuse to check myself out for I would rather keep people employed. There is no discount for the doing the work so why do it? Grocery prices continue to climb.

merrill, all this online copy / pasting you do is a good way to put a postman out of work. You should be writing a letter on stationery / envelopes bought at Hallmark, with pens made by an American company, then buying a stamp and mailing the letter to the Letters to the Editor of the LJW. That way you have helped to give the factory workers, the postal service and the person at LJW a job.
Is online commenting great for the job market? I say no.

I have always renewed online and do not understand why this remains a problem. Yes there is a 'processing fee' but guess what, It probably costs the same amount to drive to and from the DMV/courthouse. Especially if you're forced to go more than once, i.e. the recent problem for those waiting in line.

Merrill, why do you hate information technology workers? Are you wanting to put the programmers, analysts, and maintenance people out of work? Plus, what Finnbar1 said.

I might give online a try as it has worked pretty well for everything else. It goes pretty well at the local satellite office, though, and I get to get one or two of those nifty brown little envelopes for storing my registration. They'll give 'em up, but you have to ask for them.

Good luck trying to renew online! I tried, but when I got to the website and entered my PIN #, it stated my insurance was expired and to renew by mail or going to the courthouse. It didn't even ask me about my insurance info before telling me it's expired. And no, I pay my bills on time and my insurance is NOT expired. Damn state of KS...
