Build it, and they will come. In warm weather, and if the price isn't too dear.

I don't know about that - there used to be a minature golf course on 23rd Street, and after it closed one opened on Iowa Street. Now, it's long gone too.
But talking about the minature golf courses is Lawrence is like talking about the roller skating rink Lawrence used to have on Iowa Street - it gives away your age!

If Lawrence had one of those mega, themed, mini golf places (like you find in Branson or Orlando) it would do booming business in this town. The standard putt putt, on a concrete slab and a couple bumps won't cut it.

Yeah, but the mini-courses have walls. I think you'd be okay.

We play every year on our family vacation. Seems like no matter where we go, mini-golf can be found somewhere nearby.

Have to agree. Build one and I am sure it will be busy. Now that I am retired....hmmmm.

Is Alvamar going to put in putt putt? I think that is a good idea and a perfect place, since it is near families that have money to spend. The west side of Kasold is full of rich people and they like to putter around.
I would build one but the city would make me put in handicapped accessible putt putts and not to forget all of the parking stalls. Then the overhead with the taxes going up on the new library when it is remodeled will make the expenses even more.
It is best, if the city buys Alvamar and makes a community / senior center at the clubhouse and has putt putt ! Also, have a hot dog stand with one eye Wilbur dogs. $1.50 each or free for putt putt on Sundays.
