It makes me sick when I see perfectly good items in the trash on the curb. There are several agencies in town that take donations. if you get a receipt you can deduct it on your taxes. Lazy people who were never poor!

My Mom passed away recently. I took all the food in the house to the food bank in town and then took everything that was usable to the Penn house. I understand that they support Lawrence directly. That's what I was looking for. Both facilities were helpful and very easy to deal with. My mom was a generous person and I know that's what she would have wanted.
