Wjo cares, another special interest grudge match !!

ronwell_dobbs 7 years, 11 months ago

Ugghh. I guess if I had to choose, it would be Moran. He's definitely the evil of two lessers.

I don't know who won, but I know who lost. Us.

Didn't get a chance to watch, however, if you are inchanted with the following Kansas polinuts, you will love Tiahrt::: Phill Klein, Jim Ryun, Sam Brownback, Kris Kobach, Steve Abrams and Lynn Jenkins. Moran seems to have moved a little further to the right than in the past, probably due to pressure from those listed as well as Tea-Party influences.

CreatureComforts 7 years, 11 months ago

As long as he is slightly more left than Tiahrt, he has a better chance of winning the independents, which is a huge chunk of the population. By moving slightly more right, he can also win more Republicans without losing those independents. Pretty smart of him...

They're both winners in my book. I've always been a bigger Moron fan, though, because one time he signed my Bible at a Tea Party rally in Topeka.

1029: I think you meant Moran and not Moron. But you your whole comment line scares the hell out of me! Maybe it was Moron what you really meant.

Studies show some folks just don't get sarcasm--it's genetic.

Tiahrt has a long history of voting for smaller government and lower taxes. He's the true conservative in this race.

sourpuss 7 years, 11 months ago

Right, because Kansas needs even less revenue now. I hear we're running a huge budget surplus... :P

I believe it was a tossup. Between Tweedledumb and TweedleStupid.

yourworstnightmare 7 years, 11 months ago

A slap fight between two crap-tards. Neither won, but the State of Kansas has surely lost.

blindrabbit 7 years, 11 months ago

Can you even imagine the crap Kansas is going to get with the likely following:

Governor-----Smilin Sam Brownback Senator-------Todd or Jerry 2nd D. Rep--- Lynn Jenkins Kris Kobach for whatever he is running for

CreatureComforts 7 years, 11 months ago

I'm curious how many people here saying "both lost" and variances of such ACTUALLY followed the debate, or are just doing so because their political views differ? I could make a guess that it's about 90% for the latter...

Moran should have mopped the floor with Tiahrt, but T held his own. So at worst, a tie, which in political wackyworld means a victory for T.

Moran for Robert's senate seat in 2014, if Roberts retires. Brownback should make Moran secretary of a high level state department until then.

Who is the Democratic candidate? I want to vote for him.
