i liked the Lucy episode when she wrapped cheese up like it was a baby and got on the plane. too funny. the funniest part is when she was acting like she was bottle feeding the baby. to make it look as if the baby was drinking, she to a big gulp of the baby milk; ha ha ha ha. the face she makes when taking down the milk is too funny. OH am i suppose to be talking about the super bowl??!

I was fond of how Dear Leader picked the Colts and kept his fail record intact.

Each year the half time show gets worse. This was the worst year yet.

number3of5 - your husband had a trauma in his youth that led to the two of you getting married? How intriguing. My wife always says she wishes somebody had knocked her over the head before she married me! But for over 40 years she hasn't made any move to leave, so I guess she's only joking....

You are all a bunch of dorks

funny approx. 60% either watch the commercials or don't watch at all. All you sports types stop putting down people just because they don't want to watch football - your in the minority that enjoys watching.

I completely and truly get annoyed by people who think they are sooooo self righteous and perfect because they don't: a) watch tv at all; b) watch sports; c) shop at a particular store; d) shop downtown, yadda yadda yadda.

As Badboy said, tell us what you do like and let's see how the reactions affect you.

Rodger and Pete needs their money...performance...they were great when i saw them at the Shrine theater in LA...many Moons ago..and Mr Moon was with them,,before he exploded...

honeychild (Mel Briscoe) says…

so did the who suck? i haven't heard much about their performance…

It could've been worse. There's only two of the original group left with the passing of Keith Moon & John Entwhistle. I've never understood why they think Zak Starkey is worth a hoot as a drummer. Maybe his Dad got him the job.

@Lwctown.....Just">p>@Lwctown.....Just because your hobbies and interests differ from others doesn't give you the right to deface them. I'm sure the book about nothing you read alone was very important. While the rest of us enjoyed family, friends and good times. Don't be a hater, it's lame.

football games all look the same to me.

Ahh, lwctown, but you do have time post about those who do like sports.

Post one of your hobbies so I can make fun of you. I am betting you are real nerdy......

I do not watch sports on tv. I quit following sports when my husband and I got married because of a trauma that occured in his youth. This year, however, I have been following the articles on Haskell Women's Basketball team. I am an alumni from Haskell and I think it is great to support this team, even if just online.

lwctown.. of course it makes a difference. it gives some schmo a chance to pretend that they've been a fan of the winning team for years (they can sport their brand new fake jersey, get a couple stickers for their car, and probably buy a hat which they'll wear in the stupidest manner possible).

lwctown - you say you don't watch pro sports...does that mean that your life you have keeps you from watching college sports too? They're really no different in the end, so if you watch KU/college athletics but not pro athletics...

I have not watched a stupid bowl in over thirty-five years, about the time crybaby Lamar Hunt and his stooge Rozelle bought out the NFL. They ruined the game, not real football since then.

Super Bowl Sunday should be a national holiday. It is a good time to get together with friends.

My favorite thing is going shopping and running errands during the Super Bowl. There is no traffic and plenty of parking. Just get home before the stupid game is over so you avoid all of the drunks on the road.

I don't care. I've got a bottle of scotch and some lobsters. OK, T it up and kick off already...

Agnostick 4 years, 2 months ago

Agreed, catfish! It's all getting time-shifted, and for what??

College football ends second week of January...

Super Bowl in February...

"March Madness" now goes into early April...

Baseball season is nearly half over by the time NBA wraps it up...

World Series starts after Halloween...

Is today the Superbowl? I actually have a life so I dont follow pro sports. Amazed at the amount of resources peope are willing to put into something that just doesnt matter. Regardless of who wins a very few people make alot of money and the outcome makes do difference to the average persons life.

Commercials!

This one is five years old, and still the best I've seen in several years:

I like the idea of a championship game (super bowl) but it should be played the next week after the conference championships. This two week wait is stupid and the NFL is talking about adding another game to the regular season and the super bowl should be rotated through the team stadiums, bad weather and all.

sierraclub 4 years, 2 months ago

It is a very good time to get together with family and friends. Who cares who wins the actual game!

0

riverdrifter 4 years, 2 months ago

I've done 2 Super Bowls & will never go back.

"If it's the ultimate game, why are they playing it again next year?"

It really depends on when the wardrobe malfunctions occur - and whose wardrobe malfunctions.
