I only run when someone is chasing me.

Even then, I'd probably just try to hide. ;)

Where's the response "to the fridge?"

I don't know how far. Never tried to go back and step off the distance. It seemed the farmer was rather protective of those water melons. If the question was how fast. That would be easy. Faster than rock salt travels.

Officially, a 5K. I have run 10 miles before in one setting, but I usually do 3-4 miles daily.

Ran my first 5K on Sunday. Unofficially I've probably gone farther. I'm actually more of a jogger/speed-walker than runner.

The Greek dude only ran because he didn't have a car. God gives us cars so we don't have to run.

Did all of the running that I care to do in life back when I was in the Corps. Nothing like running 3+ miles on a sandy beach in boots and uts or running 6+ miles on asphalt but the best is when I was an a-gunner and had the tripod smacking off my spine as I ran when we did weapon runs

I was also thinking about a three mile run in the Corps when I was the platoon guide, so carrying the platoon colors at port arms, I had my M-14 slung across my back, with the magazine release digging into my back the entire distance... Semper Fi!

Completed the 5k yesterday! Exciting to see the number of people participating! Daisy Hill was a killer!

One mile is the most I've ever done.

Here is a great 3.1 mile race through KU's campus this Saturday and for a good cause! http://people.ku.edu/~msc/hilltop/

I've run 57,678 miles.

Oh, did you mean at one time?

There needs to be instead of "other distance" an "ultra" distance! :) 100 miles 1 day!

Porch,

I've done Leadville and Rocky Raccoon. I'm actually heading out to Western States in June this year for my first attempt at a silver buckle!

Not much for running, but I swam 5 miles a day, six days a week for 4 years and I've walked 20 or more miles carrying a backpack hundreds of times. Does that count...

Run for FUN?!? What the hell kinda fun is that??

0

JJE007 3 years, 1 month ago

Ran a lousy ten miles...swam a lousy two while recovering from a back injury...been a lousy athlete all my life...though still ready to die to evade any finish line...if I feel I have to...yet always ready to dance like a motown mojo mofo!~)

Training for a 10K right now - 5 miles this morning easy. Plan to run a half marathon in October. Cardio cross-training on alternate days really helps. It does get easier.

I don't know, it was in the Army with full pack, etc. It only seemed like a light year at the time.

Just got done running 4 miles! But the farthest was 6 miles. It is so relaxing, I love putting on my headphones and rocking out!
