Just got done running 4 miles! But the farthest was 6 miles. It is so relaxing, I love putting on my headphones and rocking out!

I don't know, it was in the Army with full pack, etc. It only seemed like a light year at the time.

davidsmom 4 years ago

Training for a 10K right now - 5 miles this morning easy. Plan to run a half marathon in October. Cardio cross-training on alternate days really helps. It does get easier.

tange 4 years ago

The farthest I've ever run is from home.

(Fortunately, my path was constrained to an orb.)

JJE007 4 years ago

Ran a lousy ten miles...swam a lousy two while recovering from a back injury...been a lousy athlete all my life...though still ready to die to evade any finish line...if I feel I have to...yet always ready to dance like a motown mojo mofo!~)

Run for FUN?!? What the hell kinda fun is that??

bruno2 4 years ago

Not much for running, but I swam 5 miles a day, six days a week for 4 years and I've walked 20 or more miles carrying a backpack hundreds of times. Does that count...

porch_person 4 years ago

NIck, you've done Western States?? Did you "buckle"?

In any case, (bows with forehead to floor)

RoeDapple 4 years ago

Nick Lang 4 years ago

There needs to be instead of "other distance" an "ultra" distance! :) 100 miles 1 day!

porch_person 4 years ago

19.75 during a training run. Did a fast 3.5 yesterday. Felt good.

beatrice 4 years ago

I've run 57,678 miles.

Oh, did you mean at one time?

d_prowess 4 years ago

Here is a great 3.1 mile race through KU's campus this Saturday and for a good cause!

jrlii 4 years ago

One mile is the most I've ever done.

The_Original_Bob 4 years ago

autie (anonymous) says… walk...all the time. Run? negative. I need to drop another thirty before I do that one. April 19, 2010 at 7:54 a.m.

Having read of your latest sure an upgrade in on the menu? ;)

Did all of the running that I care to do in life back when I was in the Corps. Nothing like running 3+ miles on a sandy beach in boots and uts or running 6+ miles on asphalt but the best is when I was an a-gunner and had the tripod smacking off my spine as I ran when we did weapon runs

from Strong Hall to the Kansas Union.

The Greek dude only ran because he didn't have a car. God gives us cars so we don't have to run.

whats_going_on 4 years ago

Did the half yesterday...feel like death today. Go me.

I_Bejewel 4 years ago

Ran my first 5K on Sunday. Unofficially I've probably gone farther. I'm actually more of a jogger/speed-walker than runner.

labmonkey 4 years ago

Officially, a 5K. I have run 10 miles before in one setting, but I usually do 3-4 miles daily.

BABBOY 4 years ago

When I played football I was 230 and pretty strong but could run a little bit like maybe 5 miles or something if I pushed but regularly ran 2 miles.

Then, in my 30s I leaned down to about 190 and could run half marathon and probably more but for concern of one my knees. I ran 2 miles on my off days and ran 5 - 10 miles on days I was working it. I only did 10 if I was pissed at something. That was a good time because i could eat whatever I wanted and as much without getting fat.

Now, at 44, shin splits put an end to running and walking is boring so I have gotten fat. I am actually just as strong or stronger then when I played, but at 270 I am lucky if I could beat Jonas to the fridge.

I am guessing I need to work more cardio verse lifting at the gym and on a machine that does put pounding on my legs ....... but that is boring as well......

headdoctor 4 years ago

I don't know how far. Never tried to go back and step off the distance. It seemed the farmer was rather protective of those water melons. If the question was how fast. That would be easy. Faster than rock salt travels.

jonas_opines 4 years ago

Where's the response "to the fridge?"
