It's like hearing a note in a minor key, and having feeling of foreshadowing....

You have two choices.

1) lose your job and sit at home
2) lose your job and try to find another

Duh, which explanation is more embarrassing? #1

Use Facebook to network and find a job. Its not what you know, its who you know!!

Looks as though Lawrence residents are more concerned about appearances than reality.

I lost my job do to our company being sold. I mentioned it on my status on Facebook. One of my friends knew of a company hiring in my area, so I sent them a resume, interviewed and was hired 1 week from the date I was let go. Facebook was a huge blessing. It is a GREAT way of networking! I have helped 2 other people find jobs through seeing their posts on Facebook. One of the best ways I know of finding a job is using Facebook.

How come only one, now two, of 303 voters made a comment? Come on! What are you really thinking? Make a really fun vid of your packing up and leaving the office or where ever you did work and post it on You Tube.

I feel like "Don't use Facebook" should be an option too.
