Fixing our existing crumbling roadways should be KDOT's #1 priority. I also support coordination of traffic signals, as this reduces congestion and doesn't involve widening or extending roads (it also saves drivers a lot of money, since we won't be sitting at red lights as long). Lastly, we should be looking at more transit, as well as bike/ped. lanes/ trails, (considering the fact that gas prices will and are going back up). One point on the project scoring criteria - Hopefully environmental and historic considerations are included, as the stimulus money isn't a green light for anything. Thanks for considering.
