I dont mind shopping just all the rude shoppers that will bruise you with their carts, be crappy about parking, and mkae odd noises if you say excuse me please to get through a isle. Hope all remembers the holiday spirit is so much more than what you can get on sale.

I like black Friday, but my payday is after that, so it's December. I'll likely still be out there on Christmas eve though.

Most likely around April Fool's Day. Sorry guys. Santa must've been hijacked by those darn pirates. Now go shovel the walk.

One year when I was in college I didn't even start shopping until the afternoon before Christmas Eve morning when I was planning on leaving town. I'll never do THAT again. Shopping is stressful enough without knowing that you have to buy all of your presents right then and get them all wrapped that night because there isn't going to be another chance. It wasn't planned, it was just that I was taking a full load of classes, working a full time job, and time got away from me.

I shop all the time. I love the dopamine high it gives me.

I hate the "have to" in shopping. The feeling like you have to, even if you can't afford it. When I was still married, my ex would insist we spend what we didn't have. Said his parents would let utlities go unpaid before they would let their brood go without "a proper Christmas". Now my youngest thinks he is being cheated if he doesn't get two gifts from everyone. My preference is to buy each of my sons one toy gift, and one clothing gift, and to have a pretty tree decorated. And to remind them of whose birthday is it, anyway.
