Cut cable TV. Cut restaurants altogether. Don't buy packaged or prepared food. Cut cell phone service. Sleep when it's dark out.

Petition the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks to issue Doe Permits only.

I agree with cool. Aldis is a great saving as is Checkers. Make a lot of bean dishes and use lentils - great tasting and very inexpensive. I love lentils with an egg over easy on top. Make home made biscuits, check out movies and watch at home, read books, read and comment on blogs, read and comment on blogs, read and comment on blogs - especially At Random!!!!!!!! :)

Make a conscious decision about what you NEED versus what you WANT. Even if you are living on the edge you can always put something into a rainy day account. You'd be suprised how even the spare change in your pocket at the end of the day thrown into a jar would add up (but you can't raid the jar.)

With property taxes the way they are, the move idea seems best. I wonder how the city would answer this question.

If the buck jumps out in front of your car, try not to hit it. A buck saved!! Yay you!

Shower and sleep with your friends. Saves water and keeps you warmer.

Shoot. Didn't see any of you at the Cowboy Junkies & then at a bar last night with your squeeze for a nightcap on a windy, chilly March night? Life's a bitch & then you die.

Get out...
