I was at the House Hearing. 80% of the kids families surveyed state wide want this. 80% of other states do this. Costs are only 3$ more a ticket, and there's been no ticket increase in 9 years. State champion coaches statewide support this. There's a whole lot more to this than that article makes it appear. Mr. Bowden is now being asked to explain his comments which do not appear to be correct, and to explain why they support making families spend the night for the allclass 2 day state track meet in Wichita, when they could do it like they do for football now, i meet in differenct cities, and get it done in a day. The double standard, etcc...there's more to this. It's about being accountable to the people for your actions.

Seriously now, doesn't the legislature have more important things to do...like budgets, energy policy, immigration reform...oh that's right - THEY DON'T! This is absolutely the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. KU and K-State could do this today if they wanted to. You do not need legislation for such a thing. STUPID...absolutely a waste of time.
