we buy alot of fresh veggies and fruit and some is organic so it adds up. but we save on our beef by getting farm raised organic from the family. alot cheaper than buying at the store.

And how about that wonderful government surplus canned pork; there is no better eating than that! I am definitely what I can afford to buy to eat and I'm not happy about that in the least!

Always check the expiration dates on the foods you buy. I have recently been to three different grocery stores and a few items of food had been expired by a couple of months, one had even expired back in December that I was purchasing yesterday.

That is a tell tale sign that our local economy isn't doing to well.
