Maybe you purposely look for items grown as far away as possible.

maybe its the difference in no i dont care and no - its too hard because i cant afford the gas to make more than a trip to superwalmart to buy everything all at once. idk. one is probably a dont care and the other is probably no other feasable options. i know i tried to find the farmer's market this weekend and for the life of me i couldnt find it - i swear it must have moved! but in tongie the market consists of - im not kidding - broccoli and turnips (with each purchase an invite to VBS - very hometowny), homemade jelly and jam and spice mixes, flowers, and knitted hats - while these four vendors had great offerings i was very disappointed that there werent more options.

I can't wait to have a place where I can grow some of my own food. My parents always grow a few things. I do like the farmer's market when my mom doesn't have any extra to share. Supernik, The Saturday farmer's market is on New Hampshire on an east side parking lot. Give Tongie a chance to grow. It takes awhile.

Did any of you ever consider that ALL tainted produce is local to somewhere? Had you bought the tainted produce local to where it was grown you would be just as sick? Is there something special about Lawrence local produce that keeps it from being tainted?Morons.
