I have better things to spend my money on than broken campaign promises.

If I didn't have to donate to the "fill up my tank" campaign every week, they may have had a shot at some of my loose change. But then again, I've never been less interested in presidential candidates as I am in these two jokers. Here's one for you, they should skip all of the "Veep Watch" BS and add each other to the VP ticket. Then nobody/everybody looses. McCain/Obama 2008, now that has a ring to it. I can't get this ringing noise out of my head.

Good one invictus, what more could I say?

None. Why would I give money to people who have more money than I do. That's just silly.

N_Trenched: Put the dumb, old guy as VP, send him around the world to attend funerals and you might just have a deal. BTW, I gave a significant sum to Obama's campaign last night in response to the gutter politics of Mccain in the last few days. Obama & especially his Democratic allies in the Senate and Congress need to hit back hard against such slimeball tactics.

I donated $100 to the Obama campaign. At least he is going to return $1000 per MIDDLE class family (not the wealthiest) that the big oil companies robbed from us. Exxon-Mobil posted an $11 Billion dollar profit - the highest profit of any U.S. company in U.S. history - that we've paid for! It's time to get some of our hard-earned money back! (unless you like contributing to the highest profits in history).

If Obama were to take all the money that he has amassed for his campaign, and for the Democrat party, plus all the money the 527's that support him have raised, and distribute it, evenly, among all legal US citizens, fire all his campaign staff, and stop advertising, then I might consider voting for him, but my decision would be based on his final, final, really, really, sincere stance on the issues.
