Lawrence resident Kathy Sanders Wilson, formerly a professional food photographer with a studio in Chicago, shot more than 100 covers for Better Homes and Gardens magazine, as well as photos for food advertisements, cookbooks and recipe magazines. Journal-World photographer Richard Gwin reproduced images Wilson shot on film by using a digital camera to photograph color transparencies from her portfolio.
