Worker's continue to erect the Bowersock Mills and power Hydro Electric plant on the north side of the Kansas river as it looks to be growing taller everyday.
This month, construction crews are beginning to raise prefabricated concrete walls that will add to the height of the building. When the building is completed, it will be about 48 feet taller than the top of the Kansas River levee. Work on the new plant, which is across the river from the older plant, is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
