Tom Eversole, is responsible for tuning, restoring and maintaining about 120 different pianos around Murphy Hall and elsewhere on the Kansas University campus. Eversole says he appreciates his ability to watch student musicians mature through their achievements.
The "Umbrella Incident" was a watershed moment for KT Walsh, who up to that point had never been political. With support from friends and family, she decided to fight.

Orth-Lopes creates student productions around various themes and involves participants in singing solos, dancing and playing multiple instruments for the productions.
John Towner, center left, directs the New Horizons Band during a performance at Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community this past winter. The band rehearses weekly at the Douglas County Senior Center and usually performs concerts once a month at an area retirement center.
