Cans For The Community made a $1,000 contribution to the Lawrence Schools Foundation June 7 for the Lawrence public schools music program at the Foundation office. Members of the Haskell Veterans Club, in unison with the facilities department, honored TSgt. Travis Schuler, Air Force with the 190th Air Refueling Wing, on Feb. 4 with an eagle feather and cedar box made by Eli Jackson. TSgt. Schuler returned from Baghdad on Jan. 28.
