From left, Emma Johnson, Jensen Persinger, Mosey co-chairwoman Jennifer Johnson, Emma Bentzinger and Caroline Baloga, volunteered to stuff bags for the July 7 Mass. Street Mosey, a benefit for Cottonwood Inc. The bags were handed out to Mosey participants and included coupons and fliers from local businesses.
Keeshond Lovers United rescue group held their annual reunion picnic May 7 at the home of Ted and Elaine Hite, rural Lecompton.
Teller’s Restaurant Top Chef winner Bo Stephenson, left, received a first place check from Central National Bank- Lawrence President Charles Derby. The bank sponsored the Top Chef event at the July 4th Party in the Park celebration.
