Three professional women’s service organizations gather annually at a Friendship Dinner. The event was held March 7 at Maceli’s, 1031 N.H. A food drive was held among the clubs this year, contributing 162 pounds of food to JustFood. Altrusa Club members, from left, Marilyn McCleary, Eloise Kerbs, Lori Michel and Susan Morris helped label books for the club’s Born to Read project before the April 20 meeting at Maceli’s. All newborns at Lawrence Memorial Hospital receive a book from the Altrusa Club. More than 10,000 books have been distributed to date.
