This is a familiar address for me, an elderly lady named Ida Mason used to run a stamps and collectibles business here many years ago (pre-1966), as a kid I used to walk several blocks down Kentucky to buy stamps from her, I still have many of them in my collection. She was a mainstay of the Lawrence Stamp Club for many years, and lived in an apartment in the back. I hope the building can be saved as a link to neighborhood businesses of the past.
