Steve and Tammy Buckner were the organizers and hosts for the trivia contest for the Lawrence High School baseball team. The Feb. 19 event was held at Johnny’s Tavern and also included a silent and live auction. Items included manicures, haircuts, oil changes, KU and Royals/Chiefs memorabilia, jewelry, gift certificates and a week trip to Taos, N.M. Money raised will help purchase baseball equipment and support the team’s trip to Oklahoma.
