McLouth residents gather to mourn Justin Johnston June 2, 2011

The town of McLouth bonded together on Thursday June 2, 2011 in the Methodist Church across from the high school to memorialize Justin Johnston, 16, a McLouth High School junior who died while on a trip to Costa Rica.

Giving each other a big hug, McClouth seniors Kayle Blevins 16, left, and Katy Taylor 16, console each other as the town of McClouth mourned on Thursday, June 2, 2011, at the McLouth United Methodist Church. The community was honoring Justin Johnston, a McClouth junior who was shot and killed on a school trip to Costa Rica.

Even though your question really isn't important to the story at all, there are some kids who turn 17 in June/July that will be seniors in the fall. I'm sure that is the case here.

So true Phoggydrive.... I graduated from McLouth years ago, I turned 17 in September, the beginning of my senior year.
