The Kansas Student Union Activities hosted the first ever Kansas Kart races Thursday at the Visitor's Center parking lot on Daisy Hill. The event is based on the "Mario Kart" classic video game. Racers rode over-sized tricycles through an obstacle course and received items such as balls, water balloons and banana peels. Heather Kaplin, a volunteer with SUA, handed out banana peels to racers as they came by.
