KU police investigate report of revenge porn

University of Kansas police are investigating a case of apparent revenge porn.

In late October, the victim reported to the KU Office of Public Safety that someone had distributed nude photos of her without her consent. The behavior occurred between late March and late October, according to the report.

The victim accused her ex-boyfriend of posting the nude photos of her online after the couple broke up, KU police Deputy Chief James Anguiano said.

The investigation is in the early stages and no arrest has been made, Anguiano said.

Anguiano said the victim and suspect were both KU students previously but that police had not yet confirmed whether both are still enrolled. He said KU police are investigating because at least some image sharing may have occurred on campus.
