Kansas City air travelers will soon have another travel option.

Southwest Airlines has announced it is adding nonstop service to San Antonio. The airline will operate one nonstop flight daily from Kansas City to San Antonio beginning in November, officials with Kansas City International Airport said Thursday.

San Antonio is the largest city by passenger volume that does not currently have nonstop service from Kansas City, according to figures from KCI. More than 100 passengers per day make connections between Kansas City and San Antonio, according to airport leaders.

Southwest also announced on Thursday that it is adding another nonstop flight from Kansas City to Phoenix, for a total of four per day.
