Lawrence has landed The Hardwood Classic AAU basketball tournament, which runs through Sunday at the Sports Pavilion Lawrence. In the past the event has been held in Kansas City. Republican Donald Trump is leading the race in Kansas by a large margin but has not yet convinced a majority of Kansans to vote for him. Gov. Sam Brownback and the Kansas Legislature also get low marks in the latest poll by Fort Hays State University’s Docking Institute.
