Architecture firm makes donation to KU for Marvin Hall

The Kansas City, Mo.-based firm 360 Architecture has donated $25,000 to the Kansas University School of Architecture, Design and Planning.

The funds will be used for The Forum at Marvin Hall, a commons and lecture hall that is being constructed by students enrolled in the Department of Architecture’s Studio 804.

“We are thrilled to see The Forum constructed on campus and believe it will create a great opportunity for architecture students to connect with one another and bring together design professionals from throughout the region,” said John Eyler, 360 Architecture principal.

Five of the firm’s principals graduated from KU, and it has been a longtime supporter of the school.

John Gaunt, dean of the architecture school, said, “I know I speak for our students, faculty and friends when I say that we cannot thank the firm enough for its many gifts to the school. These include mentoring our students, participating in our programs and financial support.”

The gift was made to the KU Endowment, the fundraising arm of KU.
