The Goldenberg Duo will present a free recital at noon Friday in the Central Court at the Spencer Museum of Art, 1301 Mississippi St.

The brother-sister duo features Susan, a violinist with the Kansas City Symphony, and William, a distinguished professor of piano at Northern Illinois University. They plan to perform works by Edvard Grieg and Beethoven as well as Chinese folk songs and klezmer music.

The backdrop for their performance will be “An Errant Line: Ann Hamilton/Cynthia Schira,” a new art installation combining textiles and digital art.
