The Lawrence Arts Center’s new artists in residence will begin teaching classes to the public this week.

Printmaker Patrick Vincent, Minneapolis, Minn., and ceramicist Monika Laskowska, Columbus, Ohio, will offer semester-long group classes and private classes.

Vincent’s classes are:

• Intro to Bookbinding, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Tuesday through Nov. 27. Cost is $180, or $162 for members.

• Beginning Printmaking, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Tuesday through Nov. 27. Cost is $190, or $171 for members.

• Relief Printmaking, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Wednesday through Dec. 5. Cost is $190, or $171 for members.

Laskowska’s classes are:

• Beginning Ceramics, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Mondays, Monday through Nov. 26. Cost is $220, or $198 for members.

• Ceramics, Revisited, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Tuesday through Nov. 27. Cost is $220, or $198 for members.
