Flint Hills exhibit includes local artist’s work
Work by Lawrence artist Betsy Forcade is included in a special Flint Hills-inspired exhibit at the Buttonwood Art Space, 3013 Main St. in Kansas City, Mo.
Forcade’s fine-art nature photos are part of Buttonwood’s fourth annual “Visions of the Flint Hills” show, which runs through Nov. 30. A percent of proceeds from the show goes to the Flint Hills Tourism Coalition, a nonprofit group that supports conservation and tourism in the Flint Hills.
A reception is planned for 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 2, the evening of Kansas City’s November First Fridays event. The gallery is open weekdays and also on Nov. 3.
