Lawrence’s 2012 Phoenix Award winners have been named and will be honored with a reception next month.

Lawrence Cultural Arts Commission announced that winners are John Hachmeister for Exceptional Artistic Achievement, Lori Norwood for Visual Arts, David Ohle for Literary Arts, Wayne Propst for Performance Art and Mary Ann Saunders for Volunteer in the Arts.

The reception, which is free and open to the public, is set for 2 p.m. Nov. 4 at Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H. Check back with Lawrence.com for more on this year’s winners prior to the event.
