Three burglary arrests made over weekend

Police made three home burglary arrests since Friday:

• Two Lawrence men were arrested Saturday evening by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on charges of home burglary, vehicle burglary, criminal damage to property and theft. The alleged crimes occurred about 5 p.m. Saturday at a residence just southwest of Eudora. One of the men, 21-year-old Lawrence man Jerrame Mullin, was charged Monday in Douglas County District Court with home burglary, theft and criminal damage. Mullin’s bond was set at $2,500. Charges against the other man are pending.

• A 27-year-old Lawrence woman was charged Monday in Douglas County District Court with six charges, including home burglary and marijuana possession and distribution.

Ashley Dawn Houk was arrested about 5 p.m. Friday by Lawrence police for a report of burglary in the 500 block of Florida Street. The reporting party gave a description of the suspect, and police later located and arrested Houk in the 1600 block of Haskell Avenue, according to police. Stolen items were recovered by police when they arrested Houk, along with marijuana.

Houk is being held on an $8,500 bond.
