A 52-year-old Lawrence woman pleaded no contest to several charges Friday stemming from two vehicle chases and an assault earlier this year.
Sharon L. Roberts will serve one year of probation for three misdemeanor criminal restraint charges, and will be sentenced Dec. 10 on a charge of felony fleeing and eluding police.
Roberts was wanted on an outstanding assault charge from a road rage incident when she fled from police twice in May. As a term of her probation, Roberts is prohibited from driving a vehicle and must comply with mental health treatment.
