Lawrence police called to medical emergency later determined to be unfounded

Several Lawrence police officers responded about 10:20 a.m. Wednesday to a medical emergency possibly related to a reported crime in the 3300 block of Yellowstone Drive, near Kasold Drive and Clinton Parkway. But Sgt. Trent McKinley, a police spokesman, said the report was unfounded, police did not find an injured person, and the address for the call did not exist. Medics were on standby on Kasold Drive, but they were later dismissed.
