A man and a woman were critically injured after a motorcycle crash in the 1200 section of County Road 458 just after 4 p.m. Sunday.

Sgt. Lyle Hagenbuch, of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, said the motorcycle was westbound around a curve on County Road 458 when the driver lost control, careening into the ditch.

Hagenbuch said both were transported to Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka, the woman by helicopter ambulance and the man via ground ambulance.

Their conditions were not known Sunday night.
