A Haskell Indian Nations University student was charged Monday with criminal trespass and criminal deprivation of property following a Sunday morning incident at a Haskell dormitory.
Darnell K. Begay, 23, is accused of entering a dorm room at Roe Cloud Hall Sunday around 6 a.m. without the resident's permission, according to prosecutors.
At Begay's first appearance, prosecutors alleged that Begay — who said he was a current Haskell student — entered a dorm room and took someone else's property.
Begay was originally arrested on a charge of burglary.
