Commissioners agreed to set Oct. 2 as the date for a public hearing for incentives related to a project to build a hotel/retail building at Ninth and New Hampshire streets.
City commissioners previously have given preliminary approval to about $12 million worth of incentives for the project. But the incentives, which include tax increment financing and a transportation development district, require multiple hearings.
The Oct. 2 meeting will serve as one of the state-required public hearings on the project.
