A woman reported to Kansas University police that someone stole her laptop, a 17-inch MacBook valued at $5,000, between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. Wednesday.

The woman was unsure if the theft occurred from the Art and Design building, Jayhawker Towers or the Kansas Union, said Maj. Chris Keary, an assistant KU police chief.
