Missouri man sentenced in Leavenworth bank robbery

? A Missouri man has been sentenced for his part in last year’s armed robbery of a Leavenworth bank.

The U.S Attorney’s office says 22-year-old Donnique Kelley, of Kansas City, Mo., was sentenced Monday to more than 10 years in prison. Kelley pleaded guilty to one count each of armed bank robbery and using a gun in the holdup.

Kelley’s 52-year-old co-defendant, Dale Hill, is set for sentencing April 16. Hill is also from Kansas City, Mo.

Kelley admitted the two men held up a Leavenworth branch of Country Club Bank last Sept. 13. They drove off in a stolen SUV, then switched to another vehicle with Lansing police and the Kansas Highway Patrol in pursuit.

The chase ended in Kansas City, Mo., when police used stop sticks to disable the car.
