LJWorld.com and the Lawrence Journal-World are participating in a credibility study, sponsored by the Associated Press Managing Editors.

The study focuses on the intersection of privacy and social media. As part of that study, which will ultimately result in a series of recommendations shared with newsrooms across the country, we’re hosting a roundtable discussion on the topic at The News Center, 7th and New Hampshire.

The discussion, which will include discussion of real world issues from Lawrence and elsewhere, will run from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15.

Refreshments will be provided and attendees will be encouraged to tweet about the conversation as its happening.
