KU men’s basketball 13th in preseason ESPN/USA Today coaches poll

The Kansas men’s basketball team is ranked No. 13 in the preseason ESPN/USA Today coaches poll released on Thursday.

The Jayhawks are joined in the top 25 by fellow Big 12 schools Baylor (12th), Texas A&M (19th) and Missouri (25th). Texas and Kansas State also received votes.

North Carolina nearly was a unanimous No. 1, picking up 30 of the 31 first-place votes. Kentucky claimed the other first-place vote and was second, followed by Ohio State, UConn and Syracuse.
