A Kansas University student was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital with minor injuries after being struck by a car driven by another student around 12:35 p.m. Friday near the intersection of West Campus and Stratford roads, said Capt. Schuyler Bailey, a KU Police Department spokesman. A KU police officer cited the driver for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
