Basehor man injured after crashing into building in fair condition
A 36-year-old Basehor man who was injured Monday after his vehicle crashed into a building was listed in fair condition Tuesday at Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., a hospital spokesman said. Matthew R. Moss was injured when he crossed the center median of U.S. Highway 24 near 155th Street in Basehor in his westbound 2009 Dodge pickup truck. He went through the eastbound lanes, into the south ditch and eventually struck a building on Pinehurst Drive, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. Moss was not wearing a seat belt. The crash occurred at 8:15 a.m. Monday.
