Andover ? A man who reportedly tried to steal a flat screen television from an Andover store died when the truck he was in crashed during a police chase.

Butler County Sheriff Kelly Herzet says the chase began after police tried to stop a pickup driven by two men who were seen stealing the television Tuesday morning at the Andover Dillons store.

Herzet said the driver of the pickup eventually drove off a 30-foot embankment. The truck landed upside down on its roof in a creek.

KFDI reports that one of the men crawled out of the truck and was arrested. The other man died at the scene. No names have been released.
